Mrs. Kathy Fortlage
1st and 2nd  Grade Teacher & Music Teacher K-8
Email Mrs. Fortlage

Mrs. Fortlage will be teaching her 30th school year this year, beginning her career here at LLS from 1990-1994, returning to LLS in 2014, and is excited to be teaching “grand-students” (children of past students!).  Mrs. Fortlage grew up attending Immanuel Lutheran School (pre-merger with St. Peter’s)  later transferred to St. Peter’s, and is excited to serve the Lord teaching in Lebanon as her great-grandfather Otto Blasé did at Immanuel school.

You might catch Mrs. Fortlage out fishing on Lake Michigan or area inland lakes with her husband of 31 years, Eric. Mrs. Fortlage has two grown daughters – Liz (married to Andy), and Erika. Mrs. Fortlage is looking forward to being a first time Grandma in October! She is an avid reader and most of the librarians at the Watertown Public Library know her by name and that she loves mysteries!

Mrs. Fortlage is a 37 year member of the Lebanon Band and plays the clarinet.  She has been the emcee for the past six years for band concerts.  You may also see Mrs. Fortlage on the organ or piano at St. Peter’s.

“It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name…”
